Vacay Maxi Dress

Though a maxi can be worn for any occasion from luncheons to weddings and everything in between, tossing on a maxi during a tropical vacay always seems to be my favorite occasion. Whether it’s due to the new glow from a day on the beach or the ocean breeze through the palms, every getaway deserves at least one maxi night for a casual yet glamorous evening look.

For a dinner outfit at Club Med Sandpiper (more on that to come), I wore this new floral maxi I ordered online. Even though the dress was only $25, it is one of my favorite new pieces for the season!

As I’ve shared before, when it comes to shopping, I love mixing and matching designer items with inexpensive pieces. To me, I could care less what the price tag says – If I like the way it looks on me, that’s all that matters. Though purchasing a dress on Nordstrom is a bit easier than digging through these overseas websites, I love the satisfaction of falling in love with an item that is a complete steal. (Disclaimer: I have had a handful of disastrous orders from various websites where my item looks NOTHING like the photo, but any item I post on the blog or Instagram is an item that I actually love and wear often!)
