When I hit my mid-to-late twenties, I decided to do a complete closet revamp. Partly because the days of mini skirts and crop tops are (mostly) behind, but also because I seem to have less time on my hands to shop for every new occasion. When a last minute dinner pops up, I may not have time to spend the afternoon shopping, so filling my closet with versatile pieces that I can style for multiple occasions became the objective.
This blue striped Amanda Uprichard dress has become one of my go-to dresses for any occasion. I love how I can pair it with block heels for brunch with the parents or Sunday church, but adding a denim jacket and nude booties makes it the perfect dress for SMU tailgating. It’s conservative for any occasion, but also feminine and flirty for a date night look. I also love how it can easily transition from summer to fall by switching up the accessories and shoes.
