Rather than tossing on your favorite LBD, now is the time to add a little sparkle to your holiday wardrobe! From sequins to metallics and even a bit of fur, why not spice up your look? After all, it’s the season of celebrating and cheer!
As you know by now, I love pieces that I can mix and match for numerous occasions, and this metallic pleated skirt is just so perfect for this time of year. I recently wore it with a cozy blush sweater for a weeknight event (see the full look here), but I dressed it up with a silk cami for a holiday party. The lace detail on the camisole adds a touch of flirtiness, without going overboard – which I love! What I love most about metallic skirts is that the fabric does all the talking – no matter what top, shoes, or accessories you pair it with, the skirt itself is the statement. It makes dressing so easy!
Since it’s obviously cold in December, I added a leather bomber to my outfit to stay warm. If you’re heading to a more formal event, you can never go wrong with a fur coat!
