Expectant Mother Must-Haves: My Pregnancy Favorites

Woohoo! I am officially less than 3 months from meeting Baby Butler and could not be more excited.  There are a million lists about what baby items are a “must”, but today I wanted to share what products have become must-haves during my pregnancy!

1 – Belly Oil

Nobody wants stretch marks, so I have been using these belly oils religiously.  Both seem to have a cult following, and they are great! Hatch Belly Oil and Bio-Oil both seem to last forever and I use them each morning and night.

Hatch Belly Oil:  This one is a bit pricey, but it is all-natural and comes in a simple, glass bottle. It is a really good addition to keep on your bathroom counter for ~9 months. 

Bio-Oil: This one seems to be a little more common among my friends, and I really like it.  The oil is thicker than the Hatch option, so it is really all about personal preference!

2 – ASOS Everyday Maternity T-Shirts

ASOS seems to be the best place to shop for maternity clothes, and they have SO many great options! My friends and I all love these maternity t-shirts, and they are perfect for wearing under a cardigan or to a workout class. They are sold in a 2-pack for $16 – they can’t be beat!

3 – Lululemon Align Pants

I cannot speak highly enough about these!  I have bought a few pairs of cheaper maternity leggings at Target and Motherhood, but nothing compares to the Lululemon Align Pants.  Fun fact, these are not even maternity leggings, but they stretch with the entire pregnancy! I decided to go a size up from my normal lululemon leggings, so I suggest ordering a few sizes to get the perfect fit.

4 – Sleep Mask

Sleeping has gotten tricky, so I love keeping an eye mask on my nightstand. This one is heated and lavender-scented – so lovely at bedtime!

5 – Belly Headphones

OK, so Bellytunes are not really a “must”, but we love that our baby can now hear music so these are fun!  I like to put the music on at night or when watching a movie, so our baby can learn music.

6 – Pregnancy Pillow

I haven’t quite figured this one out yet, but I think the larger I get, this prenancy pillow will become my favorite.  One thing I did not know is that sleeping on your side is the preferred method while pregnant.  I am a back sleeper, so the pillow really helps keep me on my side and comfortable.  However, this pillow is huge! It is essentially a third person in bed with us ;)

7 – Preggie Pop Drops

First Trimester nausea is real, and these lozenges were amazing to pop in during the middle of the day.  I loved keeping these Preggie Pop Drops in my purse to settle my nausea whenever it hit!

8 – All-Natural Skincare Products

Choosing the right products has always been incredibly important to me, but now that I’m pregnant it’s my top priority! I love SnowFox products because they’re all-natural and work wonders on my skin. Their cleanser is perfect to use morning and night, and I love how this serum keeps my skin silky smooth! If you love a deep hydration, their sheet masks are great too!
