For the second day of South Walton Fashion Week, I opted for this hunter green Splendid dress and a lightweight Alice and Oliva vest that I snagged a few years ago (try this similar one!). Dressing for Fall when it is still hot outside can be a challenge, however, these lightweight pieces were the perfect way to stay cool on this warm October night. The event was held on the lawn at Sandestin Grand Boulevard, so wedges were a must to stroll comfortable around the event.

A bold print on a classic shape is one of my favorite ways to add a little pop into my look. I love investing in designer pieces that will not go out of style, but can still be dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion. Last night I paired one of my favorite Lela Rose dresses with a bold statement necklace, a classic black stiletto, and a bright orange clutch to pull out the warm tones of the fabric for the Red Cross YPA kickoff party at Hotel ZaZa. When it comes to traveling, comfort is definitely my primary focus for dressing. One of my biggest pet peeves is when I see people venturing through the airport looking like they just rolled out of bed in their pajama pants and a college tee. With all of the cozy-chic pieces readily available in retail stores, I think it’s time we all put that look to rest. Whether you choose a great pair of stretch jeans, trendy joggers, chic sneakers, or a classic Vince tee, your travel look will be updated in a snap.
For my recent travel experience, I picked up a new pair of DL1961 stretch skinnys for the journey and paired them with an oversized Free People thermal. I tossed on my favorite floppy hat to give that “put together” look, my floppy combat boots to save my soles from heels, and my favorite leather messenger bag for all of my travel goodies. Check out my travel look and shop some of my favorite cozy looks below for your next journey:

After an amazing 10 days in New York, I am finally back home in Dallas ready to update all of you on the newest trends, my favorite NYFW outfit looks, and all of our wonderful experiences and events from the trip! One of my highlights of the journey was definitely the rewardStyle party on the rooftop of The Empire Hotel. Catching up with all of my favorite bloggers, as well as meeting many new favorites, was an absolute blast. The entire rewardStyle team threw an over-the-top fete once again, complete with goodies from Kendra Scott, Piperlime, and more!
One of my favorite new trends (which is isn’t necessarily “new”) is the collared white blouse. Channeling a more structured look with a tailored shape and stiff collar, the white blouse is a must-have this season. Paired alone or layered under a dress or sweater, this is your newest go-to for any occasion.
Since crop tops are my number one favorite trend this year, I chose to wear this edgy Nasty Gal collared blouse for my Saturday afternoon event look. Since the sides of this shirt are connected solely by a black elastic band, I paired the crop with a high-waist leather pencil to avoid showing too much skin. The high-neck collar balances out the bold sides, giving an edgy yet sophisticated twist on the white blouse trend. Bright colors and patterns are what I gravitate towards when shopping, so of course this yellow printed Lilly Pulitzer tank found its way into my closet this summer. Yellow is such a fun and happy color, so what better way to start my day off with positive vibes than with this vibrant preppy tank I found this summer at Barefoot Princess! I paired this top with my favorite lace Lilly shorts, which have become such an easy and feminine alternative to my classic J Crew shorts. See how I styled my Lilly look and shop the links below to steal my style!
