Layering is one of my favorite (and one of the easiest) ways to add depth to any item. This black and white grid print dress has become such a staple in my closet, due to its classic button-down shape and simple color scheme. By pairing it with this crochet kimono, I gave the dress a boho twist for a concert night in Deep Ellum. The sleeveless shape and comfort fit make it the perfect dress for any season, and I can’t wait to pair some leather leggings, a moto jacket, and some platform ankle booties for an edgy Fall night. Rompers are one of my favorite looks for the summer, as they are so easy and comfortable for casual afternoons. I am loving this new Lilly Pulitzer printed romper I picked up at Barefoot Princess in Watercolor recently. The blue print is so cheery, and pairing it with my hot pink Reed Krakoff bag added a fun pop of color to brighten up my day. See how I styled my romper for lunch with the family, and be sure to check out some of my other favorite rompers below!

As most of you know by now, I’m enjoying my last summer down here on the Florida panhandle before starting the full-time corporate world. One of our favorite roads is 30A, because it’s full of cute beach towns like Watercolor, Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Grayton, and Alys Beach! If you haven’t spent time on the Emerald Coast you definitely need to check it out!
I spent the afternoon in Alys Beach and wore my new Lilly bikini and matching cover-up. This tunic-like cover-up is perfect because it covers enough skin to roam around the town, but is also breezy for a day on the beach. I always wear my favorite straw hat when spending time in the sun, because it’s fashionable and functional! What’s your go-to beach day outfit?

One item every girl needs in her closet this season is a crop top. Finding the perfect crop top for every body shape isn’t necessarily the easiest task, but this palm crop top just about nails it. The length of this top hits right around the waistband of a high-waist pair of shorts, giving the flirty effect of a crop without baring your midriff. The flowy double-lined material keeps it airy for those hot summer days, making it the perfect top to throw on for any occasion! Ellen paired hers with an asymmetrical skort and an awesome statement necklace for a nighttime look, while Janie paired hers with frayed cutoffs and wedges for a casual afternoon ensemble. No matter how you style this top, it is a must-have for your wardrobe. Visit Milk and Honey to shop our looks!
