Mirrored sunglasses are popping up all over the place this season, and it seems designers just can’t get enough of this fun trend. Ever since I purchased my Ray Ban mirrored aviators last summer, I’ve had a hard time convincing myself to wear a different pair. The shape of the aviators are universally flattering and the pop of color adds a little style to every look. The glasses also give a hint of mystery, since no one can see where you are really looking. Growing up an hour from the Florida coast, I spent every weekend on the boat soaking in the summer rays. I practically lived in bikinis and the idea of sunscreen seemed optional, rather than necessary, since I tanned easily and never burned. As I got older, I began to understand the importance of protecting my skin.
