When packing for a Caribbean vacation, my suitcase is filled with flowy, comfortable dresses perfect for those casual nights on the beach. It’s the only type of trip where I leave all of my stilettos at home and live solely in wedges and sandals! One of my favorite looks for beach vacations is crochet. I think crochet is such a feminine, yet weather-conscious, style that is forever a classic. I absolutely love this dress I picked up for the trip – not only is it perfect for tropical nights, but I definitely see myself pairing it with a pair of ankle booties and a floppy hat for a Sunday Funday look in Dallas! Best of all? It was less than $30! Such a steal. Check out my Martinique look and shop my pieces below:

HANDS UP BABY!
For the three of us,
Club Med has always been our favorite vacation spot. Ever since we attended our first resort in
Ixtapa almost twenty years ago, we have dedicated
Club Med as our happy place. The mix of countless activities, high-energy music and dancing, and the unforgettable friendships created on these weeklong vacations has made
Club Med the perfect family vacation spot. We have been shaped by these wonderful experiences into the people we are today! Now I know it may seem hard to believe that one chain of resorts can really impact someone’s life that much, but until you’ve experienced it, you will have to take our word!
This past week, our family flew to
Martinique in the Caribbean for a week of tropical bliss. We had an unforgettable time on the island and enjoyed our much needed week away from work! With snorkeling, kayaking, waterskiing, windsurfing, dancing, boating, and much much more, we had the hardest time saying goodbye and heading back to reality!
One of the highlights of our trip was our catamaran trip to St. Lucia for the day. We sailed over in pleasant winds, visited the local markets, explored the cliffside, and had a yummy lunch on the beach! Though a surprise tropical storm on the way back with massive waves engulfing our sailboat put quite a twist on our peaceful cruise, it was definitely an experience to remember!

Today is the day!
I am so excited that right now I am on my way to Austin for an exciting weekend at
Fun Fun Fun Fest! One thing you may not know about me is that I absolutely LOVE music festivals! I just love the vibes of being outside in a crowd full of people all sharing the same love of music. Though I have had
Fun Fun Fun Fest on my bucket list for quite some time now, I’m pumped to experience it for my first time today!
We have teamed up with
Luden’s for a social media takeover on their Facebook page to share this amazing experience will all of their followers.
Luden’s, the throat drops loved by generations, introduces two new flavors to obsess over: watermelon and blue raspberry! These two new delicious flavors are sold exclusively at
Target stores in the pharmacy department, so be sure to pick up a bag on your next shopping trip! Click here to follow
Luden’s Facebook page to stay updated on our
FFF Fest journey!
Apart from the music, one of my favorite parts of a music festival is seeing all the different styles of clothing people choose to wear. Variations from boho to grunge rule the scene, while feathers, fringe, hats, and flash tats have all become recent festival staples. Take a look at some of my festival fashion inspiration and stay tuned for
live updates!

Discovering up-and-coming designers is always exciting for me, so of course I loved meeting Jin Seo, designer behind the amazong 51inc, in Alys Beach during SWFW. 51inc is a new brand designed for women as a way to “UN-complicate and UN-fuss” our lives. By focusing on quality over quantity, 51inc helps create versatility and chic simplicity for today’s modern woman.
This
plaid sweater is one of my favorite pieces from their new collection. Though it can be worn numerous ways, I took Jin Seo’s suggestion and paired it with a
long white tank,
boyfriend jeans, and a
pair of wedges. Be sure to check out the
51inc website to shop all of her pieces and or stop by her new store in the Hamptons next time you are in the area!
