One item that’s making a huge comeback this season is the mohair sweater. Though you may remember this from your days in elementary school (Limited Too, anyone?), this fuzzy sweater is the ultimate staple you need in your wardrobe. Not only is it delightfully cozy, it speaks for itself and lessens the need for bold accessories. I paired my cropped mohair sweater with a plaid mini and my favorite platform boots for an ultimate 90s look. Weary about jumping into this trend again? Start easy with a fluffy pastel pullover paired with ripped jeans for an updated weekend look. See how I styled my mohair crop below and shop the links beneath to get my look!

With denim running the fashion scene this season, we aren’t too shocked to see the return of the denim skirt. Considering this was hands down my wardrobe staple in those early millennium years, this comeback definitely brings a nostalgic vibe. For those of you who are weary to relive those days of your A&F adolescence, designers have begun to run wild with new styles from minis to pencils to skaters and more! Whether you try a sophisticated look like this one from Victoria Beckham or you want to give those cutoff shorts a rest with this Hudson mini, denim skirts will once again become your new best friend in a matter of time! Take a peek at some of our favorite looks and shop our picks in our lookbook below:

One jewelry trend that keeps popping up everywhere this season is pearls. Though pearls have always been a classic and preppy accessory, this season’s pearls are adding a bold kick to that traditional family heirloom. Ever since Karl Lagerfeld debuted his oversized pearl choker on the runway, designers have been going wild with the stones and the outcome is definitely appreciated! Take a look at some of our favorite pearl picks and be sure to stock up on this updated look:

One thing you may have learned about me is that I am always on board to try out the newest trends. Crop tops, ear cuffs, overalls, scrunchies, you name it. However, I have to admit I am having to ease myself into one of the newest trends hitting the scene this season: the long short. Though Bermuda shorts are not a new trend by any means, considering a pair of slouchy knee-length shorts to be a feminine and daring new look is a bit daunting to me. With so many different shapes and lengths available for these new shorts, it is definitely possible to find the right shape and style for any size with a little trial and error. Take a look at some of the new looks below and tell me what you think. Like I said, they are growing on me. Are you in?

Growing up as a kid in the 90s, overalls were a solid staple in my wardrobe: jean, velvet, corduroy – you name it. The fad came and went, and we vowed NEVER to wear overalls again… that is, until right now. Overalls are making a strong comeback this Spring with a reinvented shape to add a feminine touch to the slouchy, grunge onesies of our past. With tapered legs and rolled cuffs, this is the fashion trend I dare you try in 2014. Check out some of my favorite new styles:
