After my stay at the Houstonian Hotel earlier this week, I flew to Chicago for a quick trip of meetings and exploring! Since it was my first time to Chicago, I absolutely loved seeing the city, visiting sites (the bean was a must), and of course having my first Chicago deep dish – yum! Coming from Texas, the freezing weather was definitely a big change, so this French Connection coat was perfect for keeping me warm! Check out my windy city look below and shop the links beneath the steal my style:

The shirtdress has always been a timeless classic, so we believe this is one item every woman needs to invest in for her wardrobe. Finding the right shape and fit is very important to keep a feminine look, which is why we love these classic shirtdresses by Kiki Lynn. Kiki Lynn, created by Kimberly McKinley in the summer of 2014, is an American lifestyle brand that represents a timeless and effortless style.
Since the three of us all have a similar style with our own twist, we each styled this classic in an individual way that best fit our personal style. Blair wore her
shirtdress with a
white pea coat,
burberry scarf, and flat boots for a casual weekend look to roam around the city while being comfortable and chic! Janie paired
her dress with Christian Louboutin pumps and a neverfull tote for a trendy office to happy hour look. Ellen layered an oversized gray sweater with booties and a statement necklace as an edgy twist on the
dress, and later wrapped the sweater around her waist for a sportier look.
We absolutely love the versatility of this dress, and definitely consider it an item everyone needs in their closet! Visit the
Kiki Lynn website to shop the collections!

Being the girly-girl that I am, I can’t think of a better way to add a little sass to any outfit than with feathers! Feathers are popping up everywhere this season from a dash of feather-trim on a tee to a full on feathered skirt. Feathers are so feminine and flirty, and instantly make any outfit more fun!

My go-to look on a cool Fall day is always a cozy sweater, jeans, and a classic pair of boots. LL Bean boots have been a casual style staple of mine ever since my days at boarding school, and I love pulling them out of the back of my closet as soon as the temperature takes that first big drop! Though they are perfect for snow and rain, that doesn’t stop me from wearing them on a perfectly sunny yet chilly day around the city! I don’t know about you, but some days I wake up and just want to toss on something comfy and casual. Luckily for us, the sport chic trend is all over the fashion scene this season, meaning those sweats and sneakers are finally a stylish option! Since I am not a big “flats” person, wedge sneakers are my absolute favorite – and did I mention insanely comfortable? The sport chic trend can be interpreted from as little as sweats with a sporty sneaker to a look as bold as a tailored suit paired with a neon sports bra underneath. See how I added a sporty touch to my daily look and shop my favorite sport chic picks below:
